I absolutely love the slight steel that just cuts the sides of "Lighthouse Inn." Vocally Steve is right on point with his rich delivery. The cadence is warm and approachable, while the richness offers you a sense of humility.
The track was written with the intent of taking the listener to the beaches of Cape Cod. Lighthouse Inn is a great example of this environment written into the song story. With all the undertones of Gregory Alan Isakov, Steve has wonderful attention to detail, a brilliant sense of the poetic, and delivers as an exceptional songwriter. I am hopefully looking forward to his next release while soaking up all I can from this.
